Simon Collins-Laflamme, founder of Hypixel Studios, announced that buyers of the Hytale Cursebreaker Edition will receive an extra free copy of the game to gift to friends or family for each new chapter released on the road to version 1.0.
What is the Hytale Cursebreaker Edition offer?
“For every Hytale early access chapter we release, Cursebreaker Edition owners will get one extra game copy to give away,” Collins-Laflamme wrote on X. As an example, if there are six chapters before 1.0, that means six extra standard copies.
The first extra copy arrives with the launch of Chapter 1, scheduled for Monday, October 12, 2026. Those who upgrade to the Hytale Cursebreaker Edition during Chapter 1 will also be entitled to the copy.
Context and prices
The Hytale Cursebreaker Edition costs $83.99, while the Standard is $24.99 and the Supporter $41.99. Collins-Laflamme reinforced the “community first” philosophy and reminded that the game is still under intense development, with the team now exceeding 100 people.
Chapter 1 transforms the sandbox into a more robust RPG, with a goblin faction, dungeon, raid boss, rocket boots, gliders, hookshots, combat runes and visual improvements. The studio plans more updates in the cozy/crafting, combat and dungeons/bosses categories.
