Hytale Chapter 1, also called Out of the Breach, arrives on October 12, 2026 to the game's Early Access on PC. Hypixel Studios confirmed the date with a teaser and official posts.
What Hytale Chapter 1 brings
The update adds the game's first handcrafted dungeon with a multi-phase boss called Gobliterator. It also brings the Goblin faction, the Goblin Breach world event (temporary portals to unstable fragments), Rune Abilities system, goblin gadgets (rocket boots, hookshot, glider, mining drill and spyglass) and progression at the Forgotten Temple.
Parts of the content are already available on the pre-release branch, but the full dungeon and boss are saved for launch. CEO Simon Collins-Laflamme offered $15,000 to the first streamer who defeats the Gobliterator in hard mode under strict conditions.
Why it matters
After months of updates focused on technical foundations, Chapter 1 marks the start of significant adventure content expansion in Hytale. Sources: official hytale.com site, YouTube teaser and Simon's announcements on X.
