Japan Society will host the U.S. premiere of GROTESQQQUE in New York on October 8, 2026. The original film is directed, written and designed by Atsushi Nishigori.
The screening is a collaboration with CloverWorks and Aniplex of America. Nishigori will introduce the film in person. Japan theatrical release is November 6. The world premiere was at Fantasia in Montreal.
The omnibus includes “Nocturne: Nuit Grotesque.” Opening theme is “Shoot Shoot Shoot” by METALVERSE. Production is from JOEN (Aniplex, CloverWorks, Wit Studio, Shueisha).
