What's Coming in Genshin Impact 7.1
Maintenance typically takes about five hours. Afterward, the Phase 1 banners for Genshin Impact 7.1 release Vesna (Anemo, Sword) and Vodyanitsa (Hydro, Catalyst). Both characters boost the Stellar Swirl reaction, a core combat mechanic for the Snezhnaya season.
Vesna is the youngest commander in the Druzhna and converts Cryo Swirl reactions into Stellar Swirl. On the field, she summons spirit blades, accumulates "Sword Essence", and spends this resource to attack. Outside of combat, she can fly during exploration as a Vila. In the Japanese voice cast, Aya Hirano voices the character.
Vodyanitsa is the prima donna of Snezhnograd's Korolevskiy troupe and wields a Hydro catalyst. Kanae Ito provides her Japanese voice acting. Her banner and Vesna's run until October 13. Phase 2 features Skirk and Escoffier reruns.
Story and Bosses
The Archon Quest advances with the acts "White Night, Like a Dream Awakening" and "A Requiem for the Underworld". The clash with Ronova, the Ruler of Death, becomes a weekly boss fight. Completing the new quest grants 620 Primogems, according to HoYoverse's announcement.
The Moonchase Festival also returns to Liyue alongside the main event "Silver Wing in Pursuit of the Moon", which offers an exclusive 4-star sword.
Sixth Anniversary Gifts
HoYoverse has confirmed a larger-than-usual package for Genshin Impact 7.1: 10 Intertwined Fates, 1,600 Primogems, a Genesis Crystal top-up bonus reset, and two 5-star character selectors—one from the standard banner and one limited (featuring characters like Tartaglia, Baizhu, Nilou, Varesa, Chiori, and Clorinde). The limited selector depends on completing the 7.1 Archon Quest.
Three livestream redemption codes are still active for a total of 300 Primogems: Rekviem, Vesna0923, and PrimaDonna.
