Frieren Season 3 is still scheduled for October 2027. On the third anniversary of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, MADHOUSE released a commemorative visual and the official project opened an illustrated countdown to the Golden Land arc.
What the visual shows
Frieren, Fern and Stark celebrate. Frieren holds the ridiculously huge hamburger from Season 1 episode 12, Stark's birthday. In the window reflection stand Himmel, Heiter, Eisen and Frieren from the original party.
Season 3 countdown
Official countdown art now points to Frieren Season 3 and the Golden Land arc. Broadcast remains October 2027. Keisuke Kojima's first piece shows Frieren with a grimoire to air Season 3 in one year.
Why it matters
Season 1 launched in September 2023. Season 3 is a year away. The countdown keeps the next arc on a public calendar.
