Fortnite confirmed Five Nights at Freddy's for Fortnitemares 2026. The collab hits Battle Royale on October 1 with Freddy Fazbear's pizzeria on the map, animatronic bosses and classic band skins.
What arrives
Epic's announcement and official trailer show Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy as bosses and outfits, each with a Withered style. There are also back blings, kicks, instrument cosmetics and a chance to become the animatronic after defeating it.
How it works on the map
The pizzeria becomes a POI with security cameras and jumpscares. Epic said the Fazbear Band has taken over Battle Royale and told players to survive the night. Fortnitemares 2026 starts the same day.
Why it matters
Fans asked for this crossover for years. Scott Cawthon is protective of the brand, which helps explain the wait. This time it is more than a shop drop: it changes a map point and the Halloween combat loop.
