Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave topped Japanese retail for September 14–20, 2026. Famitsu estimated 127,131 physical copies of the Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive after its September 17 launch.
What happened?
The Nintendo / Intelligent Systems tactical RPG led the weekly software chart. Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter sold 24,724 on Switch 2 and 21,753 on PlayStation 5 (46,477 combined).
Marvel's Wolverine opened at 20,039 on PS5. Another Eden Begins added 14,708 on Switch 2 and 9,237 on Switch.
Why it matters
Famitsu tracks retail only, so eShop downloads are excluded. Even so, 127k physical units in seven days show demand for Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave as the first major series exclusive on Switch 2 in Japan.
Switch 2 sold 34,341 hardware units (6,316,079 lifetime in Japan). The PS5 family sold 7,847; original Switch 5,705; Xbox Series 271.
