Dengeki Bunko festival confirms three anime and one project in progress

The Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival 2026, streamed on October 3 via ABEMA, opened a new batch of adaptations. Beyond updates to series already announced, the imprint confirmed three TV anime and said another animation project is in progress.

The confirmation came in Dengeki's own news block and was logged by Dengeki Online. Premiere dates, casts and episode counts have not been released for most of these titles.

What was confirmed

  • Soshiki no Shukuteki to Kekkon Shitara Mecha Amai (My Sweet Marriage to My Ex-Nemesis), by Toshimichi Uzo, illustrated by Kei Hayashi. Directed by Atsushi Nigorikawa and produced by EMT Squared.
  • Dorei kara no Kitai to Hyoka no Sei de Sakushu Dekinai nodaga, by Maware Isogawa. The adaptation was announced, with no studio or cast at this stage.
  • Delta to Gamma no Rigakubu Note, a science-tinged youth mystery by Takuma Sakasai, illustrated by Asagi Tosaka. No animation staff disclosed.
  • Kochira, Shumatsu Teitai Iinkai., by Kaien Aien, illustrated by Ogipote. The wording is more cautious: Dengeki describes an anime project in progress, not a locked production.

What was already on the schedule

The stream, which started at 4 p.m. Japan time, also gathered The Kept Man of the Princess Knight, Spice and Wolf season 2, the Sword Art Online game series, Yuusha-kei ni Shosu, Toaru Anbu no Shoujo Kyousei and Reki Kawahara's Demons' Crest. Those titles already had their own coverage cycle. What changes this Saturday is the package of new editorial announcements.

The film Seishun Buta Yarou wa Dear Friend no Yume wo Minai remains set for October 16, 2026 in Japan, a date repeated on the event schedule, not a premiere announced today.

Why it matters

Dengeki uses the autumn festival as a media-mix showcase. Naming EMT Squared and a director for Soshiki no Shukuteki puts that novel ahead of the other three, which are still at announcement stage. Treating all four as the same thing would be inaccurate: three received an announced adaptation; one remains a project in progress.
