Takara Tomy, known for franchises such as Transformers, Beyblade and Tomica, announced on November 4, 2026 the launch of the indie game publishing brand ENJOYN GAMES Takara Tomy.
What happened?
The Japanese company enters the digital games market with three initial Steam titles. The first is Jinro Burger (Werewolf Burger), a hidden-identity party game where players stack hamburgers while trying to identify spies. It arrives on November 10 for 880 yen.
Next is Little Cheese Works, a co-op stealth action game where players control mouse workers at an exploitative cheese company, using voice chat to coordinate without alerting the cat. Scheduled for Q4 2026.
The third is Sloppy Forgeries, a competitive drawing game where participants have three minutes to copy famous artworks with limited tools. It arrives on November 14, with ENJOYN GAMES handling Japanese publishing.
Why it matters
The entry of a traditional toy maker into the indie segment shows the expansion of the games market and the search for new audiences. The brand combines “enjoy”, “join” and “en” (bonds in Japanese), reflecting Takara Tomy’s fun and connection philosophy.
