Dynasty Warriors 3 Remastered: 4K/60 on PS5 and Xbox Series X, October 1

Dynasty Warriors 3 Remastered launches on October 1, 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. Omega Force producer Tomohiko Sho outlined resolution and frame-rate targets in interviews published Monday. PS5, PS5 Pro and Xbox Series X aim for 4K with upscaling at 60 FPS. Xbox Series S upscales to 1080p, also at 60 FPS.

What Switch 2 delivers

Docked Switch 2 outputs 1440p. Handheld stays at 1080p through upscaling. Frame rate ranges from 30 to 60 FPS. Sho said the team kept the same on-screen soldier count as other platforms. Split-screen on Switch 2 is expected at 30 FPS, per Respec.

PS5 Pro and extras

The PS5 Pro version uses PSSR and higher mesh quality via Nanite. Standard Edition is $39.99. Digital Deluxe is $69.99, with 42 retro costumes, fusion weapons and bonus items. Pre-orders through September 30 include the retro Red Hare saddle. Offline split-screen co-op returns.

Why it matters

Dynasty Warriors 3 Remastered tests whether a classic Musou still holds up on current hardware without losing the 1-versus-1,000 scale. Sho said a strong result could open the door to other older Warriors titles. Sources: GamingBolt, Gematsu and Respec.
