Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World received a new information drop from Square Enix and TOSE. Besides Quick Scouting, Scout Run, joint battles and priestess Almira, a demo covering Bianca and Nera arriving in Witherwood is available. The game launches December 3, 2026.
What happened?
Recruiting a wild monster in Dragon Quest Monsters usually means battle plus a Show of Force. Quick Scouting lets you toss meat in the field and see a percentage chance. Better cuts raise the odds. Scout Run at the Witherwood paddock hosts rare monsters recruitable only this way. Joint Battles put both heroines’ monsters in one fight.
Why it matters
Almira, Watcher of the Archeagles, is voiced by Grace Saif in English. After the Evil Eye descended, the Archeagles vanished and Almira went missing. Lucifus allegedly attacked the people without reason. The series still promises 500-plus monsters and launch DLC including the Scout Run VIP Card.
