Crunchyroll Manga began operating in 11 new countries on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Link-U Group and Crunchyroll said the English catalog, previously limited to the United States and Canada, now includes the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
The first wave in those markets has more than 250 titles from publishers such as J-Novel Club, Square Enix and Yen Press. Titles named in the release include The Apothecary Diaries, My Dress-Up Darling, Bocchi the Rock!, Bungo Stray Dogs, Delicious in Dungeon, Lycoris Recoil, Sasaki and Miyano, Tsukimichi and KonoSuba. More works and imprints, including VIZ Media action titles, are planned later.
What changes in practice
The app remains on iOS, Android and the web. Premium members read ad-free, with offline mode, two-page spreads, a personal shelf and a shortcut between manga and anime. In some countries, access is included with Ultimate Fan. Pricing, membership type and title availability vary by territory, the companies said.
Asa Suehira, Crunchyroll chief content officer, framed the expansion as a response to a long-standing subscriber request. In the statement carried by Link-U, she ties anime and manga together and calls the new regions a step toward making Crunchyroll a fuller home for fans. That is a company statement, not a published usage metric.
Why it matters
The service launched in the US and Canada in October 2025. The shared library has since passed 450 titles, with partners including AlphaPolis, Compass, Kodansha, Shueisha, Square Enix, Titan Manga, VIZ Media and Yen Press. On September 14, 2026, Link-U and Crunchyroll also announced a capital and business alliance around international manga.
For readers in Brazil, the boundary is clear: Brazil is not among the 11 countries. Crunchyroll’s help center, updated October 7, lists the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland and India, and says the available text remains in English. There is no date for Latin America.
