Pearl Abyss delayed the Crimson Desert Charting the Unknown expansion from October 15 to October 29, 2026 (GMT/PT). The official notice went out on September 30 on the game site and team channels.
What happened?
The note to Greymanes says the team needs more development time for a more polished, stable experience. The slip is two weeks. In Asia the DLC opens October 30 at 7:00 KST/JST; in Europe, October 29 at 23:00 CEST; in North America, October 29 at 15:00 PT / 18:00 ET.
Charting the Unknown is the first paid expansion. Coverage describes sailing your own boat, underwater exploration, new enemy types and secret loot. Pearl Abyss cites the full title Crimson Desert Enhanced: Charting the Unknown.
Why it matters
Crimson Desert launched in March 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series and PC. An early story DLC keeps Pywel active, but the two-week pushback shows traversal and new spaces were not ready. The new date also sits next to other late-October releases.
