The Exiled Heavy Knight, the Portuguese title for The Exiled Heavy Knight Knows How to Game the System, revealed its second cour package this Wednesday, featuring a new visual, trailer, opening, ending and four additional voice cast members. The series premiered in Japan on July 2, 2026, and continues as two consecutive cours on Crunchyroll.
What happened?
The opening theme for the second cour of The Exiled Heavy Knight is Rewrite the Answer by VTuber Tokoyami Towa of hololive. The ending theme is Contemporary Dance by the band PompadollS. Crunchyroll released the trailer with English subtitles.
The new cast members are Kosuke Tanabe as Kelt, Tsugumi Sakuragi as Maebel, Misaki Kuno as Hilde, and Kengo Kawanishi as Carlos. Takeo Otsuka continues as Elymas Edvan, alongside Shion Wakayama as Ruche Rubis and Natsuko Abe as Malice Edvan.
Why does it matter?
The Exiled Heavy Knight takes the familiar premise of a hero reincarnated with a supposedly “defective” class and treats its world like a VR game the protagonist has already beaten. Elymas uses stat allocation, farming and quests to exploit the system. The second cour brings the expected increase in scale: more characters, a larger world and a new musical identity.

The series is based on the light novel by Nekoko and Jaian, with a manga adaptation by Brocco Lee published in Kodansha's Young Magazine. Seven Seas and K MANGA publish the manga in English.
