AYASA: Shadows of Silence has launched for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on October 26, 2026, developer Aya Games has announced. The atmospheric horror puzzle-platformer was already available on PC via Steam since November 28, 2025.
The Inverted World and its six lands
The adventure takes place in the Inverted World, a realm once held in balance between light and shadow under Tas, the Absolute. After war shattered that harmony, six lands — Faith, Hope, Love, Greed, Indifference and Betrayal — were left in spreading darkness. Ayasa, a young girl travelling alone, sets out to recover the scattered remnants of Tas's light and restore her world's lost balance.
Light, stealth and a story without words
Gameplay combines observation, environmental puzzles and stealth: light reveals hidden paths and awakens ancient machines, while threats too dangerous to confront directly demand timing and evasion. The story is told without spoken dialogue, through movement, surreal imagery and music — a deliberate choice by the studio, according to founder and CEO Edgar Janoyan, so players feel the story rather than read it.
Price, extras and soundtrack
According to the announcement, the game costs $19.99 on consoles and $24.99 on PC via Steam; the Xbox store lists $15.99 in its launch offer. The soundtrack and digital artbook are sold separately on Steam, and the PC version offers menus and interface text in 24 languages. The soundtrack, composed by Arman Msryan, draws on the music of Komitas, and the art direction cites Tim Burton, René Laloux, Robert Sahakyants, Hayao Miyazaki and Sergei Parajanov as inspirations.
