Arjun in Street Fighter 6 arrives October 13; 4Gamer already tried the yoga

Arjun in Street Fighter 6 arrives on October 13, 2026, as the second Year 4 fighter after Yasmine. Capcom set the date in September; on October 4, 4Gamer published a hands-on of Arjun in Street Fighter 6 from a pre-update play session.

What happened?

On the official site, Capcom describes Arjun as a former Indian police officer framed for his partner's death and now on the run. He is 207 cm and 145 kg, likes Bollywood films and fossil hunting, and hates under-steamed biryani. The Japanese voice is Megumi Yamaguchi. The Year 4 Character Pass or Year 4 Ultimate Pass unlocks Arjun in Street Fighter 6 on the 13th; players without the pass can buy him separately with Fighter Coins.

Capcom's bio, republished by Gematsu and Crunchyroll News in early September, says Yoga Breathing trades speed for heavy strikes that leave recoverable damage even when blocked, plus projectiles and traps. The Level 3 Super Art, Yaksha's Order, disrupts the opponent's inner ear before a cinematic attack. Outfit 1 is the fugitive look; Outfit 2 unlocks via the Avatar Arcade acquisition gauge or Fighter Coins.

Why it matters

Year 4 still brings Tifa from Final Fantasy VII Remake in early 2027 and Bosch in spring 2027 in the northern hemisphere. Arjun in Street Fighter 6 is the first new original fighter of the year after Yasmine, and he arrives with the game already past 7 million copies, a mark Capcom itself cited on June 9, 2026. 4Gamer's Japanese page, dated October 4, focused on turning the rival's health into a white bar and then taking it in one go.

October's calendar also includes Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen on October 9, including Switch 2. Geekiki already covered the date in Dragon's Dogma 2 Dark Arisen.

What changes in practice

Players of Arjun in Street Fighter 6 on PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PS4 or PC need the year pass or a standalone purchase on the 13th. The theme song is still listed as coming soon. The character page is at streetfighter.com; the date was logged by Gematsu.
