What happened?
Angstrom Levy will be the third downloadable character and the 21st on the overall Invincible VS roster. In the published material, the publisher describes him as a zoning fighter focused on setups and space control. His kit revolves around portals and orbs the player summons and commands to reshape the stage.
In the comics by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley, Angstrom was a human who could travel between dimensions. An accident left him with a disfigured brain and the memories of alternate versions of himself. Invincible VS uses that history to frame the portal style. Skybound has not yet detailed a standalone price or whether he is included in a pass already on sale.
Why it matters
Invincible VS is the first major game based on the Invincible universe. Season 2 opens with a villain who, in the comics and the show, changes the board instead of winning in a straight brawl. Angstrom Levy gives tag teams more setup tools if they prefer to control the screen.
