Season 2 of A Wild Last Boss Appeared begins early streaming on Saturday, September 26, 2026. In Japan, ABEMA and U-NEXT carry the first episode at 10:30 p.m. local time. Crunchyroll confirmed the same-day international start, a week before Japanese broadcast television.

The official site and Crunchyroll locked the fall calendar: streaming on September 26; TV from October 3 on Tokyo MX (Saturdays, 10:30 p.m.) and October 4 on BS Asahi and Kansai TV. Before the episode, ABEMA airs at 8:00 p.m. JST the special Fukushū no Koku, with Ami Koshimizu (Lufas Maphaahl), Satomi Akesaka (Benetnasch), Shiina Shuto (Aries) and Chiaki Takahashi (Scorpius).
A new key visual shows Lufas versus Benetnasch, with the Twelve Heavenly Stars in the background. Yuya Horiuchi returns as director at WAO World. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu remains series composer. The opening is Suspended 4th's Melodic Impact; the ending is Chakura's Yurete Skirt.
Why it matters
Season 1 launched in October 2025 with 13 episodes on Crunchyroll. The sequel pushes the arc in which an MMO player trapped in the body of the Black-Winged Tyrant faces new enemies and a 200-year sealing.
