007 First Light received its first major free DLC. IO Interactive posted update 1.3.0, Extended Operations, on Steam, available since October 1, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series and PC. The pack answers community requests: New Game+, photo mode and a new difficulty.
What Extended Operations adds
New Game+ unlocks after a full campaign. Players can replay Bond's origin with unlocked outfits (Suit Loadout) and more gadget flexibility. 00 difficulty is the hardest mode: foes spot the agent faster, hit harder, and resources restore only a fraction of gadget use. IO frames it as the test for players ready to prove they earned the number.
TacSim gains two activities. Valhalla Protocol puts the Aston Martin Valhalla in the Slovakian mountains, day and night, in scored missions. Jungle Heist returns to The Pearl in Vietnam and changes on every attempt. New weapons include the Storm 12 Gauge (clearance 20, 6,000 Intel) and the Squire Marksman Rifle (clearance 18, 4,000 Intel). New outfits include Observant Spy, Leisure Beam and First Class.
What the update fixes
IO Interactive says the patch gathers more than 700 fixes and improvements, from crashes and progression blockers to audio, localization and UI, based on reports since launch. Weapon-handling animations are smoother on reloads, aim transitions and swaps. A detail the studio flags with humor: Bond can now be thrown off ledges, like his opponents.
Linking the game to an IOI Account until November 1 unlocks the Grey Standard outfit. A Twitch Drop called One More runs from October 1 at 03:00 UTC to October 16 at 17:00 UTC. The game is still due on Switch 2 in March 2027; this DLC is for the platforms already out.
