Microsoft today, October 21, 2026, enabled the purchase of Xbox Cloud Gaming packs for Xbox Insider members who do not have a Game Pass subscription. Introductory Xbox Cloud Gaming packs cost $3.99 for 10 hours, $7.99 for 25 hours and $11.99 for 50 hours.
According to the official Xbox Wire announcement, the Xbox Cloud Gaming packs offer an ad-free experience, shorter queues and high-quality streaming. Purchased hours do not expire until used. Wider public access is scheduled for November.
What changes for Game Pass with Xbox Cloud Gaming packs
In parallel, starting in November Game Pass will include monthly cloud gaming limits: 15 hours on Ultimate, 10 hours on Premium and 5 hours on Essential. Extra hours from Xbox Cloud Gaming packs can be purchased separately.
Those who prefer not to pay can continue testing the ad-supported version already available to Insiders. Microsoft notes that a cloud-compatible game or access to selected free-to-play titles is required to use the Xbox Cloud Gaming packs.
