Welsh & Shedar arrives free on Ankama's YouTube in November

Ankama will make Aoki Denshō Welsh & Shedar free on YouTube. The news, announced on Thursday, October 1, is the Krosmoz channel: the first two episodes of Welsh & Shedar arrive in early November in English, French, and Japanese, with subtitles also in Spanish and Portuguese. After that, new episodes are expected every two weeks.

The anime already premiered on Tokyo MX on Friday, October 2, at 9:25 p.m. Japan time. What changes now is not the Japanese premiere, but international access: Ankama itself says Krosmoz will be the way to watch the series outside TV, with no subscription. The channel is also set to gather other animations and films from the group, best known for the MMORPG DOFUS.

Who makes the series

The story follows Welsh, a country boy, and Shedar, a prince destined to be king. They come from different social places and cross paths while trying to stop a tyrant's plan. In the Japanese cast, Rikuya Yasuda is Welsh and Yūki Kaji is Shedar. Naoki Horiuchi directs at Studio Massket. The opening “Bokura no Mirai e” is performed by Hironobu Kageyama and Masami Okui.

Ankama did not give the exact November day when the two episodes go up. The official note says “starting in November”; Anime News Network records early November and a two-week interval. The channel is at youtube.com/@The_Krosmoz.
