CONFIRMED: Vivo has taken its X500 line to global markets, with the X500, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max models, following its debut in China. The global launch began on October 27, 2026 in selected markets, including Malaysia and European countries, and India is expected to receive the line by the end of November.
Three models, camera first
The line's main bet is ZEISS photography. The X500 Pro Max features a 200-megapixel ZEISS APO telephoto camera, with a Samsung HP0 sensor and 3.5x optical zoom, plus an optional telephoto extender reaching the equivalent of 400 mm. The X500 Pro uses a 64-megapixel ZEISS APO telephoto with a Sony LYTIA 610 sensor and 3.5x optical zoom, while the X500 has a 50-megapixel ZEISS APO telephoto with 3.1x optical zoom. All three models have a 50-megapixel front camera and record 4K video at up to 240 frames per second.
Chips, displays and batteries
The Pro and Pro Max models use MediaTek's Dimensity 9600 Pro chip, built on a 2-nanometre process, while the X500 uses the Dimensity 9600M. The AMOLED displays run at 144 Hz: 6.59 inches on the X500, 6.36 inches on the X500 Pro and 6.85 inches on the X500 Pro Max, with peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits on the Pro models. Batteries are 7,500 mAh on the X500, 6,510 mAh on the X500 Pro and 7,800 mAh on the X500 Pro Max — in Europe, the Pro Max version has 6,750 mAh. All support 90 W wired charging, 40 W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.
Prices and availability
In Malaysia, the X500 starts at MYR 4,699 with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. In Europe, the X500 Pro starts at EUR 1,399 and the X500 Pro Max at EUR 1,599, both with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. All run Android 17 with OriginOS 7, have 12 GB of RAM, IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 7 and NFC. According to international coverage, there is no official launch planned in the United States or the United Kingdom.
