Tria launches C6C-PLH module with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 for edge AI

Tria Technologies, an Avnet company specialising in embedded computing, launched on 3 November 2026 the Tria C6C-PLH, a COM Express Compact Type 6 module based on Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors. It targets edge AI, robotics, industrial automation, medical imaging and advanced visualisation.

The module combines CPU, GPU and NPU on a compact 95 mm x 95 mm board, bringing AI closer to the point of operation and reducing dependence on the cloud for real-time analytics, machine vision, predictive maintenance and intelligent control.

Module specifications

Specifications include options with up to 16 cores, Intel Iris Xe graphics with up to 12 Xe cores, up to 96 GB of LPDDR5x memory with in-band ECC options, four independent display outputs, PCI Express Gen 4, USB4 and 2.5 Gb Ethernet based on the Intel i226.

Industrial use

For industrial use, the C6C-PLH offers temperature variants from -40 °C to +85 °C, 24/7 operation, TPM 2.0, support for Intel Time Coordinated Computing and Time Sensitive Networking, plus Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 and a Yocto-based Linux BSP.

“Industrial customers are not simply looking for more processing power; they need a platform that can sustain demanding workloads throughout long product lifecycles,” said Daniel Denzler, Vice President of Tria Technologies. The company also offers evaluation carrier boards and cooling solutions for development and prototyping.
