Transport Fever 3 is available today, September 29, 2026, on Windows, macOS and Linux via Steam, the Epic Games Store and GOG, plus native PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions. Urban Games developed it; Paradox Interactive published it.
The studio confirmed the launch on its official channel and the Steam page, with a release-day stream. There is no announced version for PlayStation 4, Xbox One or Nintendo Switch.
What changes in the third game
The series remains a transport-network tycoon spanning more than a century. The sequel widens the scope: more than 300 land, sea and air vehicles, larger cargo chains, and cities that react to supply, traffic, noise and pollution.
There are tycoon and sandbox modes plus historical campaign missions. Urban Games highlighted new route tools, fleet management, dynamic weather, a day/night cycle and municipal areas with noise barriers, underground rail and treatment plants.
Price and editions
On Paradox's official list, Standard is $49.99 on PC and $59.99 on consoles. Deluxe is $64.99 / $74.99. For the first time there is a physical Collector's Edition, limited to 10,000 copies, at $119.99.
Owners of Transport Fever 2 on the same storefront get a 10% loyalty discount until 14 days after launch. Pre-orders included the Queen Mary, the Great Pyramid of Giza and an Asian elephant as bonuses.
Why it matters
The series is one of Europe's reference logistics sims after Railway Empire 2 wound down and Cities: Skylines 2 left a gap on the transport side. Shipping the third game on PS5 and Xbox the same day as PC changes the audience: the tycoon is no longer a mouse-and-keyboard exclusive.
GOG is a first for the franchise.
