The Dangers in My Heart (Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu) season 3 now has a premiere window: April 2027. The announcement, made on November 5, 2026 through the anime's official channels, brought the first teaser and a new visual of Kyotaro Ichikawa and Anna Yamada on swings in a park at sunset, with the tagline “A new world of me begins”.
The teaser features comedic scenes with Moeko Sekine, Kana Ichikawa — Kyotaro's older sister — and Akira Momoyama, a bandmate of Kana's, and ends with Yamada announcing: “I'm dating Kyotaro-kun!”, marking the couple's new chapter after the events of season 2.
Who is behind the new season
Production continues at studio Shin-Ei Animation. Hiroaki Akagi, director of the first two seasons, returns as chief director, and Dali Chen takes the director's chair. The series adapts the manga by Norio Sakurai, published by Akita Shoten.
The news arrives alongside another milestone for the franchise: the 14th and final volume of the manga will be released on November 6, 2026, one day after the season announcement.
