GAME ARTeee COLLECTION: TGS 2026 and BEAMS Drop Yuffie, Sonic & Mega Man Tees

The GAME ARTeee COLLECTION is the anniversary collaboration between Tokyo Game Show 2026 and BEAMS. The announcement dropped this Monday (14) with sales kicking off on Tuesday, September 15, at physical stores across Japan and the brand's online shop.

TGS is hitting 30 years; BEAMS, 50. CESA, the event organizer, and the BEAMS MANGART label combined these milestones into T-shirts featuring original artwork. Source: CESA PR Times press release and Famitsu coverage.

What is the GAME ARTeee COLLECTION?

It features three designs. In the first, illustrator Zashikiwarashi — who also crafted the official TGS 2026 visual — re-imagined seven characters from Japanese publishers, one per T-shirt. In the second, all seven appear together. In the third, an "all-star" design unites eight figures from the event's photospots, including the CESA mascot.

Pricing: 6,000 yen (excluding tax) for adults. Kids: 4,500 yen, exclusively at the TGS Family Game Park. The official BEAMS page confirms dates and stores.

Featured Characters on the Tees

  • Mega Man from Mega Man Dual Override (Capcom)
  • Karia from Atelier Karia (Koei Tecmo)
  • Rose from Castlevania: Belmont's Curse (Konami)
  • Sonic the Hedgehog (Sega)
  • Yuffie from Final Fantasy VII (Square Enix)
  • Astro from Astro Bot (Sony Interactive Entertainment)
  • Tasha from Ace Combat 8 (Bandai Namco)

Seeing these IPs on a single official apparel line is rare: Capcom, Sega, Square Enix, Konami, Sony, and Bandai Namco rarely share crossover merch.

Where to Buy the GAME ARTeee COLLECTION

Physical stores (Sept 15 to 28): BEAMS Culturet Takanawa at NEWoMan Takanawa, and BEAMS Heart at Lalaport TOKYO-BAY. Online: until December 31 on the BEAMS website. Group and all-star designs are available via pre-order.

At the TGS 2026 Family Game Park (Sept 19 to 21, Makuhari Messe), only Mega Man, Astro, and Sonic will be sold in limited quantities. The park enforces specific entry rules; check the TGS website for details.

What This Means in Practice

This isn't a game announcement. It's anniversary merch tied to titles fans will experience on the show floor—playable Castlevania, Ace Combat 8, Astro Bot, and FF7 at the Square Enix booth. For international fans not traveling to Japan, the online store is the only channel available until the end of the year.

TGS 2026 runs from September 17 to 21, featuring two press days and three public days. The collection hits displays a day before the Japan Game Awards ceremony on Tuesday.
