The magazine Famitsu (October 15, 2026 issue / No. 1967) dedicates a pre-launch special to Stupid Never Dies, the “explosive growth” action RPG developed by GPTRACK50 and published by Sega.
What the game is
Starring the weakest zombie in the world, Davy, the title lets players “eat” enemies to steal abilities and transform into up to 11 different styles (Style Eat), plus the Body Hack system. The team includes veterans from Devil May Cry and Dragon’s Dogma, led by Hiroyuki Kobayashi.
The Famitsu special summarizes known information, features the latest developer interview and teaches how to enjoy the already-available demo (roughly the first two hours, with transferable progress).
Release
The game launches on October 22, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam). The standard edition costs approximately ¥7,689 (tax included) in Japan. There is also a “Gorgeous Baka Edition.”
The same Famitsu issue also covers highlights of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Switch 2), Kirby and the World Beyond and Metroid Ravenous, reinforcing a strong week of Nintendo and Japanese news.
