The Stellar Blade Switch 2 Complete Edition arrives on November 5, 2026, bringing Shift Up’s action game with all previously released additional content, including collaborations with NieR:Automata, Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, and new outfits inspired by Bayonetta.
What happened?
The first reviews of the Stellar Blade Switch 2 port were published this week. Nintendo Life scored it 7/10, highlighting rewarding exploration, thrilling combat, and fair difficulty, despite some visual limitations. Other outlets such as Nintendo Everything (4/5) and COGconnected (80/100) also praised the stable performance in both docked and handheld modes.
The game launches for $59.99 on the US eShop and includes the full version on a 32 GB physical cartridge with no additional download required. Worldwide unlock is set for November 5, with times adjusted by region (10 AM ET in the US).
Why does this matter?
Stellar Blade was one of the big successes of 2024 on PS5 and PC, known for its technical combat and the striking aesthetic of protagonist EVE. Bringing the complete edition to Switch 2 on the same day as the Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake shows the strength of the new Nintendo console’s lineup and the ability of studios to optimize third-party titles for the hybrid hardware.
What changes in practice?
Switch 2 players will have access to mouse and gyroscope controls, plus one of the best HD Rumble implementations so far. The version allows disabling frame generation, which improves responsiveness. For those who already own the game on PS5, the main attractions are portability and the exclusive Complete Edition content.
The physical edition is available and there is a Limited Edition SteelBook in limited quantities at some retailers.
