Sifu comes to iOS and Android on October 12 with Arenas and free updates

Sloclap will release Sifu for iOS and Android on October 12, 2026. The announcement, reported by Gematsu and other outlets from the studio's communication, puts the third-person action game on phones about four and a half years after its debut on consoles and PC.

Sifu launched in February 2022. The player controls a martial artist who returns older after each death: the body gains experience and loses margin for error. The combat, inspired by Pak Mei, asks for pattern reading and short execution. The game is already on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC, on Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Microsoft Store.

What is on the phone

The mobile version is not a cut of the original launch. According to coverage of the announcement, it includes the free updates accumulated since 2022, including difficulty options, modifiers, outfits and Arenas mode. Sloclap is also cited with the mark of more than 4 million copies sold. That figure appears in the account of the announcement, not in a new financial report this week.

In 2022 the game received nominations at The Game Awards for Best Independent Game, Best Action Game and Best Fighting Game. The move to phones widens the reach of a title that had already passed through console, PC and Switch, without changing the stated mobile date: October 12.

Why it matters

Porting precise combat to touch is the open question. The announcement confirms platforms and inherited content. The sources consulted do not list a price, minimum devices or control details. Until Sloclap publishes those points, the date and the scope of the package are what is confirmed.
