Romelia Senki Anime Drops New Key Visual, Theme Song & Oct 3 Streaming

Romelia Senki (Romelia War Chronicle) dropped its second official trailer this Saturday, alongside a brand-new visual of the protagonist's troop and theme song details. The staff also confirmed that the series will premiere via streaming in Japan on October 3, two days ahead of its television broadcast.

What happened?

The PV showcases the "Rome troop" in combat after the fall of the demon king. In the visual, Romelia von Graham and her squad stand armed and ready, facing the enemy. The opening theme is "Akatsuki ni Naru" ("The Dawn Resounds") by Chogakusei. The ending theme is "Nightfall feat. Maika Loubté" by KOHTA YAMAMOTO, who is also composing the musical score.

In Japan, U-NEXT, Anime Times, and Netflix will release episodes starting at 9:00 PM on October 3. TV broadcasts begin on October 5 at 11:30 PM on TOKYO MX, BS11, and Sun TV. The season is slated for two cours, spanning roughly 24 episodes. Crunchyroll will stream the series in the West concurrently with the Japanese broadcast.

What is it about?

The story originates from Ryō Ariyama's light novel series, which debuted on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website before being published by Shogakukan's Gagaga Books. The premise inverts a classic trope: the demon king has already been defeated, yet humanity remains in shambles. Romelia, a noblewoman recently rejected by the prince, builds an army to rebuild what's left in the wake of the war. It's not just another revenge isekai—the narrative focuses heavily on the post-war recovery: logistics, political alliances, and the true cost of maintaining peace.

Yuna Nemoto voices Romelia, while Jin Ogasawara and Tomohiro Ōno portray the knights Al and Ray, respectively. Hiroshi Shirai is directing the series at studio Atra, with scripts handled by Aya Satsuki. The project's official website is romelia-senki.com.

Why does it matter?

The autumn 2026 anime lineup in Japan is packed. A two-cour series with early streaming and Crunchyroll backing instantly hits the radar of fans looking for military fantasy without waiting for the TV premiere. For international fans, the October 3 Japanese window typically translates to a fast simulcast drop on Crunchyroll. Those eager to check out the PV can find the second trailer on the official YouTube channel.
