Rockstar Games released the official GTA 6 launch trailer on Thursday, October 15, 2026. The roughly 90-second video offers a new look at protagonists Jason and Lucia and the fictional state of Leonida, less than a month before the November 19 launch.
What the trailer shows
The footage opens with Jason reflecting on his troubled Army past and a call from Lucia. It then presents a montage of robberies, chases, relationship moments and scenes of Vice City and surroundings. Rockstar describes the plot as an “easy score that goes wrong,” involving the pair in a criminal conspiracy stretching across Leonida.
The entire trailer was captured in-game on a PlayStation 5, according to the developer. The official page highlights that the title “plays best on PS5.” GTA 6 arrives November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Music and original score
The video debuts the track “Flower in a Hurricane” by French electronic duo Justice, featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Rockstar confirmed Justice is composing the game’s original score. The song is part of the official Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, available for pre-save and pre-order.
