Rebuild World anime gets first key visual and main staff, still without a date

The Rebuild World anime, adapting Nahuse's light novel published by Dengeki Bunko/Kadokawa, received its first key visual and main staff on October 3, 2026. Raging Bull is producing the series. No premiere date has been given.

The TV anime was first announced at Anime Expo in early July 2023, and the main cast followed later that month. Anime News Network notes that no further public information had appeared until this staff and visual package.

Who is making the series

Tsukasa Sakurai is chief director. Shingo Uchida is directing. Naoki Tozuka is handling series composition. Hiromi Kato and others are designing the characters. Animation production is by Raging Bull.

The previously announced cast remains: Daiki Yamashita as Akira, Yurika Kubo as Alpha and Honoka Inoue as Sheryl.

What the story follows

The light novel is set after the collapse of a high-tech civilization. Hunters enter ruins in search of relics from the so-called Old World. Akira, a boy from the slums, meets Alpha, a woman only he can see, and the two strike a deal to explore an ancient site.

J-Novel Club publishes the novel and manga in English. The official Japanese anime site already lists staff, cast and the synopsis, but no broadcast window.

What changes now is the project's stage: from an announcement stalled since 2023 to a production with a public studio, direction and visual. Without a confirmed date, broadcaster or streamer, the premiere should not be treated as scheduled.
