Razer unveiled the limited Razer | EVANGELION (EVA-01) collection, inspired by the EVA-01 mecha from Neon Genesis Evangelion, featuring five pieces of gaming hardware in purple and green, exclusive to the Asia-Pacific market.
What happened?
Announced on October 29, 2026, the lineup includes the DeathAdder V4 Pro wireless mouse, BlackWidow V4 TKL HyperSpeed keyboard, Leviathan V2 X soundbar, Gigantus V2 XXL mousepad and Iskur V2 X gaming chair, all with the distinctive EVA-01 and Shinji Ikari styling.
The mouse comes with a display stand inspired by the mecha’s launch platform. Japanese prices are around ¥32,980 for the mouse, ¥35,980 for the keyboard and ¥69,980 for the chair. Launch is scheduled for mid-November in regions such as South Korea and Japan.
Why this matters
Collaborations between peripheral brands and iconic anime continue to grow in the gaming market. This is Razer’s second partnership with Evangelion (the first was with EVA-02), offering a complete themed setup for fans and collectors.
Exclusivity to Asia-Pacific limits global availability, which may increase interest from importers and resale value.
What changes in practice
Evangelion fans in Japan, Korea and other regional countries can build a full battlestation in EVA-01 colors. Outside Asia-Pacific, acquisition depends on importation or a possible future expansion by Razer.
The line retains the performance specifications of the original models (HyperSpeed wireless, hot-swappable switches, etc.), only with thematic finishing.
