Ranma 1/2 season 3 premieres with episode 25 on Nippon TV and Netflix

Ranma 1/2 season 3 began in the early hours of October 4, 2026, in Japan. Nippon TV aired episode 25, “Shugyō de Dinner,” in the Saturday 24:55 slot, and Netflix receives the episode exclusively right after the broadcast, according to the official series site.

Geekiki had already covered the third trailer, the opening and ending songs, and the cast announced in September. What changes now is the stage of the event: the season is no longer a scheduled date. It is on air.

What opens the season

In the official synopsis, Ranma receives a challenge from Ryoga shortly before summer vacation. The fight shows the gap between them after the training imposed by Cologne, Shampoo’s great-grandmother. Humiliated, Ryoga crosses paths with Cologne, whose aim is not yet explained in the episode text.

The script is by Kimiko Ueno. Storyboards are by Konosuke Uda, who remains the director of the MAPPA adaptation. Episode direction is by Parako Shinohara, and chief animation direction is by Kosuke Kawamura. The series continues the adaptation of Rumiko Takahashi’s manga, published by Shogakukan.

Where to watch

Nippon TV leads the Saturday broadcast, with other network stations on their own schedules. The channel list is on the official site. Outside Japan, the announced route remains Netflix, which already carries the previous two seasons.

The season opening is “Sunao Miman,” by Fumino, and the ending is “Kawaikunai,” by Yuika, songs revealed in the September 14 trailer. The episode count for season 3 has not been announced.
