GRYPHLINE and Fireshine Games have announced that POPUCOM will come to PlayStation 5 on November 17, 2026. The announcement, made on November 3, confirms the Sony console version's date for the first time, alongside a new release-date trailer.
The cooperative puzzle-platform adventure previously launched for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on June 1, 2025, and arrived on Nintendo Switch on December 4, 2025. The PS5 edition will therefore be the game's third platform release.
On PS5, POPUCOM will support up to four players in local and online co-op. On a mysterious planet, a group of adventurers must overcome obstacles, defeat enemies and restore the world, combining platforming with color puzzles: changing color activates mechanisms, interacts with the environment and solves puzzles.
The Rainbow Popper weapon is also part of the system: firing colored projectiles at Pomus creatures and matching three of the same color triggers effects that help clear threats. Special artifacts such as Rollo the Bomb, Captain Kitty, Barrier Bot and Power Kid expand exploration and puzzle-solving options.
According to the PlayStation Store listing cited in the coverage, the game will support one to four local players and up to four online, with DualSense vibration support. Pricing and specific PS5 editions were not detailed in the announcement.
