HoYoverse has announced that its new cosmic life simulation game, Petit Planet, will launch globally on December 4, 2026 for PC (via Epic Games Store and Windows client), iOS and Android.
What is Petit Planet?
Petit Planet is HoYoverse's first cozy game, from the studio behind Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail. Players take on the role of Planet Tenders and cultivate their own planet in the Starsea, a warm universe filled with fuzzy anthropomorphic Neighbors.
Activities include planting Luca seeds to grow trees that alter terrain and seasons, farming, fishing, bug catching, cooking, decorating homes and environments, and interacting with unique Neighbors like Mobai and Elshashani.
Launch details
Pre-download starts on December 1. Pre-registration is already open and offers rewards such as the Bestie Star-Light and Sproutling Outfit Set. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is scheduled for 2027.
HoYoverse held a Pre-Launch Special Program on November 1, showcasing gameplay and events. The game is free-to-play with gacha mechanics focused on cosmetics and decorations.
