UPDATE: the collaboration between Overwatch and Stellar Blade, named EVE Protocol, now has a date and official key art. On October 25, 2026, the official Overwatch account on X posted the collaboration's key art and announced: “Suit up, heroes. The future is calling” — and that players will be able to jump into the collaboration on November 3. This article updates the announcement published by Geekiki on October 23, when the companies had shared only a teaser, with no date and no character pairings.
The pairings shown in the official art
The art shows Overwatch heroes dressed as Stellar Blade characters:
- Eve — Widowmaker, in the Stellar Blade protagonist's signature green suit;
- Tachy — Vendetta;
- Raven — Freja;
- Adam — Soldier: 76;
- Lily 03 — D.Va.
It is worth separating what the art shows from what Blizzard has confirmed: the image presents the heroes characterized as the Stellar Blade characters, but so far the company has not detailed prices, bundles, unlock methods or whether there will be an event with challenges. Treat the pairings above as what the official art shows, and the commercial details as not yet announced.
A note on the date
Overwatch's official post cites November 3. Coverage published in Asia cites November 4 for the same launch — a difference consistent with time zones, since the American date of November 3 corresponds to the 4th in East Asia. When in doubt, watch for the in-game announcement during launch week.
Context: a busy November for Stellar Blade
EVE Protocol lands right next to two other Stellar Blade dates: the Complete Edition for Nintendo Switch 2, set for November 5, and the free Bayonetta collaboration, which adds four outfits for Eve on November 6 for PS5, PC and Switch 2. In other words, the Overwatch crossover opens a run of Shift Up news in November.
