NVIDIA RTX Spark PAIR: Windows PCs with local AI and game support from EA and Ubisoft

NVIDIA RTX Spark PAIR represents an important step by NVIDIA in local AI. The first RTX Spark laptops have been available since mid-October 2026 from brands including ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft and MSI, starting at around $2,599, combining creation, gaming and AI agents.

What happened?

NVIDIA RTX Spark is a Windows platform that pairs a Grace CPU (up to 20 cores) with a Blackwell RTX GPU (up to 6,144 CUDA cores), delivering up to 1 petaflop of AI compute and up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X unified memory. The goal is to combine creation, gaming and AI agents in a single thin device.

In parallel, PAIR left beta and reached version 1.0 on October 13. The open-source tool of NVIDIA RTX Spark PAIR automatically discovers compatible PCs on the local network (RTX 20 Series or newer, DGX Spark, Apple M4+) and distributes independent inference requests, working with Ollama, LM Studio and now llama.cpp.

Why does this matter?

Instead of relying solely on the cloud, users and small teams can leverage hardware they already own with NVIDIA RTX Spark PAIR. In NVIDIA demos, a five-subagent workload dropped from 18 minutes on a single RTX Spark laptop to about 8 minutes 48 seconds on a three-device cluster.

Beyond AI, the platform is gaining game support. EA, Embark Studios and Ubisoft are among the companies bringing titles to RTX Spark, reinforcing the appeal of machines that serve both local agents and ray tracing plus DLSS.

What changes in practice?

Anyone with more than one RTX PC or laptop can use PAIR to speed up agent workflows without buying dedicated hardware. NVIDIA RTX Spark laptops, for their part, promise to run larger models locally and AAA games at 1440p above 100 fps in many scenarios, thanks to unified memory and architectural efficiency.
