Nvidia RTX Spark laptops arrive in stores with up to 128 GB unified memory for local AI

What happened?

Nvidia announced the immediate availability of RTX Spark laptops, a new class of Windows PCs with the superchip combining Blackwell RTX GPU and Grace CPU. The devices offer up to 128 GB of unified memory and up to 1 petaflop of FP4 AI performance, enabling local language models and AI agents. They are available from brands like ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft (Surface Laptop Ultra) and MSI, starting at $2,599.

The Nvidia RTX Spark brings native support for agents like GitHub Copilot, Hermes and others, plus AAA games at 1440p over 100 FPS and content creation with 3D scenes up to 90 GB.

Why is this important?

For the first time, premium laptops allow personal AI and agents to run completely locally, without exclusive reliance on the cloud. Unified memory eliminates the traditional CPU-GPU bottleneck, enabling larger models and hybrid workflows for creation, development and gaming in a single portable device with good battery life.

What changes in practice?

Developers can prototype and test agents and models on the laptop itself. Creators edit 8K video and render large scenes offline. Gamers and AI professionals gain privacy and predictable costs, without per-token fees. The platform paves the way for compact desktops in November and strengthens the CUDA ecosystem on Windows on Arm.
