Nintendo releases Hello Peach and Hello Luigi free on Switch and phones

Nintendo expanded the My Mario line with two free apps: Hello Peach and Hello Luigi. Nintendo of America's official account announced the titles on October 6, 2026. They are on the Nintendo eShop and on phones, in the same mold as Hello, Mario! and Hello, Yoshi!.

The pitch is for young children. Parents and toddlers make silly faces, play peekaboo, and interact with the characters' faces. After download, the experience works offline. Each app has its own accessories: Luigi's cap and comb; Peach's crown, brush, and earrings, according to specialist outlets describing the eShop versions.

Wood blocks become amiibo

In the same package, Nintendo noted that My Mario wood blocks also work as amiibo. Tap a block to a Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 in compatible games and the character on the block appears on screen. The Hello, Mario! apps received an update this week to recognize those blocks.

In Japan, the company also announced the My Mario Melody Car for October 20, 2026. The toy takes a wood block and plays a song for each character as the car moves. Nintendo also released episodes 8 and 9 of the line's stop-motion series.
