What do we know about the Korea Game Awards?
Main Award winners will be determined by a combination of jury evaluation (50%), public voting (25%) and media voting (25%). Online voting runs until November 16 at 5 PM. The ceremony takes place on November 18 at 4 PM at BEXCO in Busan, one day before the opening of G-STAR 2026.
Crimson Desert and AION 2 are considered strong contenders for the Grand Prize. Netmarble had the highest number of nominations with three titles from subsidiaries.
Why does this matter?
The Korea Game Awards highlight the best of the South Korean game industry in 2026, mixing big IPs like Crimson Desert and AION 2 with independent and mid-sized studio productions. The event serves as a thermometer for the Asian games market and precedes G-STAR.
