Japanese Ramen Simulator hits Steam Early Access this Monday

Japanese Ramen Simulator from Tokyo indie Wilddog enters Steam Early Access on Monday, September 28, 2026 at 09:00 JST. It costs 1,900 yen, 1,710 for the first two weeks.

What happened?

Japanese Ramen Simulator reached storefronts after 130,000 wishlists. Players run a ramen shop end to end: prep, broth, noodles, physically simulated toppings, service and close. First- or third-person, solo with NPC staff, or online co-op for up to six (Steam lists ten).

The menu also covers gyoza, rice bowls and beer. Random events include a picky critic, a till thief and a fire. Layout is free-form.

Why it matters

Job sims thrive on Steam. Japanese Ramen Simulator stands out with recorded kitchen audio and scanned ingredients, plus spatial voice chat for group sessions.

What changes in practice

Early Access ships the core cook-serve-decorate loop. Wilddog will iterate from Steam and Discord feedback. Languages include English, Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Brazilian Portuguese.
