HoYoLAND 2026 opens today at KINTEX with Genshin, Star Rail and Zenless

HoYoLAND 2026 opens this Friday, October 2, and runs through October 5 in Halls 7 and 8 of Exhibition Hall 2 at KINTEX in Ilsan, South Korea, plus the outdoor plaza behind the complex. It is the third edition of HoYoverse Korea's in-person festival. HoYoLAND 2026 gathers the company's main games in one place, outside the general convention calendar.

What happens at HoYoLAND 2026?

Five titles are at HoYoLAND 2026: Honkai Impact 3rd, Genshin Impact, Tears of Themis, Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero. According to HoYoverse, via Inven Global, each game brings its own theme to the KINTEX floor.

  • Honkai Impact 3rd: “Hide and Seek in the Phantasmal Night”
  • Tears of Themis: “Stellis Market: Love Letters of the Four Seasons”
  • Genshin Impact: “Serenade Whispered to the Moonlight”
  • Honkai: Star Rail: “Elation, Beyond Imagination”
  • Zenless Zone Zero: “Poetry Settled Beyond the Clouds”

There is also an area for fan-made derivative works. Applications to exhibit pieces for Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero closed on September 13, with individual results on September 15. Entries that pass internal review are displayed during HoYoLAND 2026.

Why HoYoLAND 2026 matters

HoYoLAND 2026 is HoYoverse's fixed offline stop in Korea. The company also said it is returning to G-STAR this year for the first time in four years, with a 100-booth space. The Ilsan festival is not a new-version reveal: it is a community gathering, set dressing for the five games and a fan showcase.

For anyone following Genshin, Star Rail or Zenless from outside Korea, HoYoLAND 2026 usually sets the visual tone of local campaigns and shows how much weight each IP gets on the Korean calendar. Stage details, guests and exclusive shop drops still depend on on-site coverage across these four days.

In practice, a visitor to HoYoLAND 2026 finds the five universes side by side, with a fan area already filtered before opening. Anyone not in Ilsan can follow the edition's tone through official photos and Korean press coverage over the weekend.
