On October 8, 2026, Crunchyroll showed the second teaser for the Here U Are anime during its New York Comic Con panel. The adaptation of D JUN's webtoon still has no premiere date, but the platform has confirmed it will stream the series when it arrives.
Who is making it
The new video uses a score by Japanese pianist Shinya Kiyozuka, who is composing the anime's music. Tomoe Makino, of Aharen-san wa Hakarenai, directs at studio Rouseact. Aiki Kawamura handles series composition and Asami Hayakawa handles character design.
In the announced cast, Yuki Inoue plays Yang Yu and Ryota Suzuki voices Huan Li. Crunchyroll's synopsis describes Yang Yu as a university upperclassman loved by everyone and Huan Li as a quiet, antisocial new student. They get off on the wrong foot and, even as they clash, remain drawn to each other.
What is still open
D JUN's original webtoon ran from 2017 to 2020. An English version is released by Aloha Comics, and the series is also on WEBTOON. According to Anime News Network, it had more than 390 million views worldwide as of April 2026.
What has not been confirmed is the premiere window or the episode count. For now, the second Here U Are trailer is the main public update since the production was announced.
