GTA 6 pre-loading was announced by Rockstar Games this Tuesday, November 3, 2026, starting on November 10 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, two days ahead of the previous schedule.
What happened?
Digital pre-load on PlayStation 5 begins at local midnight on November 10. On Xbox Series X|S, the download starts globally at 00:00 GMT the same day. The pre-load file requires up to 212 GB of space, depending on the device. Physical versions with download codes will be available from November 12. Official launch remains November 19. Why does this matter?
With such a large file, players gain more time to download the game before launch, especially those with slower connections. Rockstar will also make a printable poster and a map of Leonida available for free on the official site on launch day.
