Google Antigravity 2.29 adds voice mode with Gemini Live and remote agents

Google has released Antigravity 2.29, its agentic development platform, with a Gemini Live-powered voice mode and cloud remote agents. The changelog dates the version to November 3, 2026, and the official @antigravity account announced it on X on November 6.

Voice mode with Gemini Live

Voice mode turns the conversation with the agent into a spoken dialogue: you can plan tasks, steer code changes and approve permissions out loud, interrupt at any time, and end by saying “bye” or tapping to end. There are nine voices to choose from and playback speed from 0.75x to 2x. In the app, voice mode works for now only in local conversations; in the CLI it is available from version 1.5.0, with the /voice live command or the F6 key. Destructive actions — such as deleting files, running commands with elevated permissions or force-pushing to a repository — cannot be approved by voice and require on-screen confirmation.

Remote agents in the cloud

The other headline feature is remote agents: conversations in cloud projects run on Google's servers and keep going even after you close your laptop. The feature is rolling out gradually to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers. A remote project is created from a GitHub repository or a Google Drive folder, and can be followed from a phone at antigravity.google.com/remote.

More new features in 2.29

Version 2.29 also brings a redesigned conversation page — prompt box at the bottom, greeting at the top, Google Sans font and Onyx theme — an Automations page reorganized into Scheduled, Always on and Paused, a Jupyter notebook viewer, improvements to the built-in browser and customizable keyboard shortcuts, plus a faster cold start.

Availability

Because the rollout is gradual, not every user will see the new features on day one — it is worth updating the app to version 2.29.0 or later and waiting for the release to reach your account.
