What Genshin Impact 7.1 Brings to the Story
HoYoverse tied the version to the Archon Quests White Night, Like a Dream Upon Waking, and A Rekviem for the Underworld. The official trailer touches upon the realm of Death and laws that no mortal can change. Livestream coverage points to a clash between Dainsleif and Ronova, the Ruler of Death. Ronova becomes a weekly boss, while the map also introduces the Guardian Blade of Drifting Snow world boss.

Banners and Weapons
In the first phase of Genshin Impact 7.1, running from September 23 to October 13, players will see the debut of Vesna (Anemo, sword, on-field DPS with Stellar Swirl) and Vodyanitsa (Hydro, catalyst, healer, and support). From October 13 to November 3, Skirk and Escoffier return in reruns.
Weapons featured in the livestream include the 5-star sword Beyond the Chrysalis and the catalyst Hymn of the Maelstrom. The Silverwing in Pursuit of the Moon event will reward players with the 4-star sword Silver Light.
What the Anniversary Changes in Practice
The official post summarizes the lineup: two 5-star invitations, 10 Intertwined Fates, 1,600 Primogems, and a reset of the Genesis Crystal first-top-up bonus. Stream reports describe a selector featuring characters from the standard pool and another pool including Tartaglia, Baizhu, Nilou, Chiori, Varesa, and Clorinde, alongside Mora, Hero's Wit, Fragile Resin, and Sanctifying Elixir. HoYoverse advised players to check their in-game mail and notices for the rest.
Other upcoming events include Carefree Snowball Fight, Predictive Victory Dynamics, and the return of Overflowing Favor.
Special Program Redeem Codes
Three redeem codes granting 100 Primogems each: Rekviem, VESNA0923, and PrimaDonna. They expire on September 15 at midnight New York time. Redeem them via the official website or directly in-game.
Why Genshin Impact 7.1 Matters Right Now
Snezhnaya is the current open arc. Combining the introduction of Ronova into the weekly boss loop, two new 5-star characters, and the 6-year anniversary gifts concentrates pulls and major lore updates into the exact same fortnight.
