Fortnite Treasure Hunters launches with One Piece collab and new Crossbones Isle

Fortnite Treasure Hunters officially launched on November 1, 2026, delivering the game’s biggest anime crossover yet with One Piece. The mini-season replaces the current island with Crossbones Isle, an 80-player pirate map packed with iconic locations and Devil Fruit-inspired powers.

What happened?

Epic Games rolled out update v43.00 after downtime that began at 1 a.m. ET. The Straw Hats and other crews take center stage. Players can use the Gum-Gum Fruit to become Luffy, Zoro’s Three Sword Style, Ace’s Flame-Flame powers, and more. Locations such as Arlong Park and Windmill Village appear on the map.

The Battle Pass includes Nico Robin and Portgas D. Ace alongside remixed Fortnite characters. Luffy, Nami, and Usopp hit the Item Shop at launch. Zoro, Sanji, and the Chopper Sidekick arrive November 7; Buggy follows on November 13. Music collabs with A$AP Rocky (Nov 5), Lil Uzi Vert (Nov 12), and Hatsune Miku / Kasane Teto (Nov 14) fill out the month.

Why does this matter?

Fortnite continues to dominate cultural crossovers. One Piece is one of the world’s biggest franchises, and playable powers (not just skins) raise the bar for collaborations. The smaller, faster-paced map plus weekly Captain events keep the game fresh while the community waits for GTA 6 on November 19.

What changes in practice?

  • New Crossbones Isle map (80 players) with launch cannons and One Piece POIs.
  • Playable powers: Gum-Gum Fruit, Three Sword Style, Flame-Flame Fruit, and more.
  • Battle Pass with Robin and Ace plus quests that unlock free sprays.
  • Weekly Captain’s Days and Shop drops through mid-November.
  • Season ends December 5, 2026.

The season is already playable. Check official details at fortnite.com and stock up on V-Bucks.
