Fantavision 202X is back on sale on Steam and the PlayStation Store. The game had been removed from digital stores in early 2026, after the end of its licensing agreement with Sony Interactive Entertainment — and developer Cosmo Machia has now announced that the agreement has been extended.
According to the developer's statement, quoted by Delisted Games, digital sales on Steam resumed on October 23 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, and the game had already returned to the PlayStation Store. The announcement does not say how long the extension lasts, so the return should not be treated as permanent.
The original Fantavision was a PlayStation 2 launch title in 2000. The 2023 remake, rebuilt in Unreal Engine, keeps the core idea: catch groups of at least three fireworks of the same colour and detonate them to create displays in 4K. On PS5 it is a single-player game, with optional PlayStation VR2 support, dedicated VR stages and a replay mode for revisiting displays from other angles and with extra effects.
