Japanese fabless chipmaker EdgeCortix unveiled RAIDEN, a chiplet platform aimed at Physical AI. The announcement came from Kanagawa on September 24, 2026 in an official release.
What RAIDEN is
RAIDEN scales from one die (X1) to two (X2) and the four-die RAIDEN-X4, sharing DNA-X and MERA. Top specs: up to 3.36 PFLOPS FP4, up to 256 GB, 548 GB/s, up to 1.54 TB/s die-to-die and up to 6.4 Tb/s chip-to-chip.
Customers and timing
Kawasaki Heavy Industries selected RAIDEN for aerospace and defense. Unigen is building servers. Sampling early 2027; volume in H2 2027.
Why it matters
PFLOPS figures are vendor targets, not independent benches.
